[Emergency Personal Property Card & Telegram.]

Below is a the emergency and personal property card that then Lt. Froemke filled out in 1943. Captain Froemke took over Baker Company after the former Commanding Officer, Captain Jack Rogers, was killed outside of Carenten, France on June 18, 1944. Below the card is a the brief telegram that brought the heartbreaking news to his parents. Captain Froemke was a week shy of his 32nd birthday when he was killed.
